Dear Ridgewood Residents,

As the upcoming Board of Education election on November 7th, 2023 approaches, I am excited to present myself as a candidate who is dedicated to serving our community. With a proven track record and a demonstrated commitment to representing the residents, I am eager to continue serving the students and taxpayers of Ridgewood.

Throughout my nine years in Ridgewood, I have had the privilege of engaging with knowledgeable residents and experts who reside within our community. Their valuable feedback has always been at the forefront of my decisions, and I consistently communicate their concerns to the superintendent and administration. This open dialogue has allowed me to be a voice for our community at Village Council meetings and Board of Education sessions through public comments, even before I held an elected position. For the last three years, as a member of the Board of Education, I have continued this practice, amplifying the collective voice of our community.

My core ideas revolve around following fundamental pillars that I believe are essential for the success of Ridgewood's students:

Providing Adequate Resources for EVERY Student: Each student in our district deserves access to quality education and resources to foster their individual growth. I will continue to advocate tirelessly for equitable allocation of resources to meet the diverse needs of our students.

Fiscal Responsibility: I understand the importance of managing resources prudently while ensuring that every dollar is utilized efficiently to benefit our students and the community.

Improving Academic Standards: Our students deserve a world-class education that prepares them for the challenges of the future. I am dedicated to raising academic standards, implementing effective programs, and fostering an environment that encourages excellence and innovation.

Transparency: Transparency is the foundation of trust and collaboration. I will continue to strive to make our decision-making processes more transparent, engaging residents in a meaningful way and keeping them informed at every step.

With a clear vision and a genuine passion for the betterment of our educational system, I have demonstrated tangible progress across all these ideas. Together, we can make a positive impact on the future of Ridgewood's public schools, preparing our students to succeed in an ever-changing world.
